1996

Founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

1997

Built and operated first laboratory in U.S.

2000

Established first R&D center in China, AstaTech (Chengdu) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

2002

Relocated and expanded to Princeton, NJ.

2004

Established Canadian R&D center, AstaTech Canada, Inc.

2006

Expanded and moved to the current site in Bristol, PA. Established AstaTech (Chengdu) Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

2007

Started Custom Manufacturing in China.

2008

Commissioned a new production plant in China.

2010

Began operating FTE and fee-for-service in both North America and China.

Intellectual Property Protections

Astatechknows that IP is your most valuable asset. Ownership of IP is based on a mutually agreeable contract with regard to each project. Some basic principles are as follows:

Any work performed by AstaTech and based on the technology package provided by the client belongs to the client. (Ex: Custom manufacturing)
Ownership rights to the results of technical work paid for by the client belong to the client. (Ex: FTE outsourcing)
IP ownership rights to work paid for by the client and that incorporate AstaTech proprietary technology will be determined according to individual contract agreements.
Any work performed by AstaTech that is not paid for in a contractual R&D working arrangement belongs to AstaTech.

Review analytical data; Design/validate analytical procedure to meet QC needs; Develop/ Validate test methods w/ knowledge of advanced analytical chemistry (COCO Simulator, CHEMCAD, ANSYS Fluent), Maintain instruments and perform analysis by NMR, HPLC, GC/MS, LC/MS, and Polarimeter; Ensure product quality and SOP, cGMPs compliance. MS in Chemistry.
