重組人白細胞介素-12蛋白與其它公司提供的重組蛋白不同，rHuIL-12蛋白產品為采用CFS的無細胞麥胚蛋白合成系統表達出來的重組蛋白，可表達出對細胞有毒性、易被蛋白酶降解的蛋白；并獲得具有良好的可溶性，并有翻譯后修飾、從而部分具有功能的蛋白.同時獨有的全自動蛋白純化技術則簡便高效，將蛋白純化過程中對蛋白的損傷降低到*小程度.重組人白細胞介素-12蛋白（全長序列）產品可用于Western Blot驗證、抗體制備、蛋白檢測、ELISA等試驗中.

| Background | Interleukin-12 (IL-12), also known as NKSF or CLMF, is a pleiotropic cytokine originally identified in the medium of activated human B lymphoblastoid cell lines. The p40 subunit of IL-12 has been shown to have extensive amino acid sequence homology to the extracellular domain of the human IL-6 receptor while the p35 subunit shows distant but significant sequence similarity to IL-6, G-CSF, and chicken MGF. These observations have led to the suggestion that IL-12 might have evolved from a cytokine/soluble receptor complex. Human and murine IL-12 share 70 % and 60 % amino acid sequence homology in their p40 and p35 subunits, respectively. IL-12 apparently shows species specificity with human IL-12 reportedly showing minimal activity in the murine system. |
